addition of 1 SI CANopen module into the ET200S system allows the CANopen network to be seamlessly controlled from Profibus or Profinet.
With the introduction of the new 1 SI CANopen, HMS Industrial Networks integrates its CANopen Master technology within the SIMATIC architecture.
The 1SI CANopen enables the easy integration of Siemens equiptment into business segments where CANopen and other CAN based protocols is used today, also opening up the possibility for Profibus/Profinet controllers (S7/ET200) to interact with CAN/CANopen fieldbus devices ( gateways )
